Although, after the digital calculator was introduced the Abacus was fading away, countries like South Korea, Japan, and China still use it to enhance mathematic skills. First they used their fingers, but when they had to deal with figures over ten, a counting device became necessary. The traces of the great device that revolutionized the calculation method can still be seen today. Even before humans could read or write, they needed to count.
